In today’s hospitality landscape, a mirror is never just a mirror. It’s part of a larger ecosystem of guest readiness, aesthetic intent, and operational reliability. At the new tech-forward hotel in Santa Clara, California, Séura collaborated with longtime partner Jackie Hui, Director of Lighting Design for Stanford Hotels, to deliver a full complement of custom mirrors that reflect this broader vision.
Hui approached each mirror as a design opportunity and a chance to reinforce the hotel’s clean, modern aesthetic while supporting guest needs. Across the property, Séura delivered a coordinated mirror package tailored to distinct guest needs ranging from morning routines in the guest room to midday touchups in public bathrooms. It’s a guest-focused, whole-property approach that goes beyond the spec and delivers measurable impact.

The standout feature? Custom full-length lighted mirrors etched with a pattern inspired by digital connectivity. Subtle and intentional, the design nods to the property’s Silicon Valley location while maintaining timeless appeal.
“The etched pattern is thoughtful without being thematic,” Hui explains. “It reinforces the idea of connectedness in today’s digital world while still functioning beautifully for the guest.”

This isn’t Hui’s first partnership with Séura, and it won’t be his last. Over 14 years, they have collaborated on a series of award-worthy hospitality environments, from the Hilton Washington DC National Mall to modern lifestyle hotels on the West Coast. In each project, Séura has brought more than product, they’ve brought problem-solving.
“Séura doesn’t just build to a drawing. They ask the right questions, improve the details, and deliver solutions that align across design, operations, and budget,” Hui says. “That’s rare.”

Creative alignment is only part of the equation. Logistics play an equally important role. With U.S.-based assembly and global sourcing flexibility, Séura helps project teams avoid transit delays, minimize tariff exposure, and meet critical installation deadlines. For hotels working against tight schedules and pre-booked openings, that level of reliability is essential.
“Hospitality timelines are non-negotiable. Séura understands that and ensures products arrive on time, without surprises,” Hui commented.

For Stanford Hotels, Séura is more than a vendor. They’re an extension of the design team that shares Hui’s commitment to intuitive guest experiences, creative excellence, and flawless execution.
